The LHS Chess Team has won four consecutive New Jersey High School Chess Championships (2023–2026) and finished 2nd nationally in 2024 — in only its fourth varsity season. The roster includes two USCF National Masters and a FIDE Master.

Beyond the competitive team, the Chess Club is open to every LHS student. Whether you're picking up a piece for the first time or already rated, there's a place for you here.
